DLF - Zamir White is a strong, surprisingly elusive, smart running back in this draft class. He may wind up being a near-zero in the receiving game, but can at least provide a nice punch in the rushing attack for the team that drafts him.
FB Guys - White is as good at the one-cut-and-go game as any back in this class. He wasn’t expected to survive for very long after experiencing many health problems at birth but obviously triumphed over that difficulty. There will be questions about his knees after he tore both ACLs, and an unexpected fall in the draft could be a sign that the medicals did not come back with an optimistic outlook. Passing game skills are mostly unknown. He is a strong, determined runner who can lead his team in carries and rushing scores.
FB Guys - Vic Tafur, from The Athletic, believes Las Vegas Raiders rookie running back Zamir White could be a starter for the team in 2023. New Raiders GM Dave Ziegler is schooled in the "Patriots Way" and that means being cost effective at the running back position.
DLF - Post-Draft Summary: White lands in a pretty intriguing spot after the Raiders decided to decline the fifth-year option on Josh Jacobs. While early touches could be hard to carve out for White, he's going to be fun to watch and could really emerge if Jacobs was to get injured or bolt in free agency. SEC running backs have a long history of success in the NFL and while it's going to likely cost you a second round rookie pick to get him, there's some upside here.
