NFL - "I love the kid. ... He's going to be great in the locker room and work his tail off every day." -- Scout for AFC team

PFF - Watson is more athlete than wide receiver at this point. If he becomes well versed in the latter...look out

FB Guys - The speed, athleticism, and size are all there to project Watson as a future starter and merit a pick after the top five are off of the board, maybe even in the first round, but there is a big unknown since we haven’t seen him against top competition. He doesn’t play quite as big as his 6’5” 208 frame indicates, so patience may be necessary and coachability (which he has by all indications) will be important.

DLF - Post-Draft Summary: The Packers missed out on the first six receivers in the draft, despite having two first round picks to burn. In the end, they settled for moving up to the top of round two and using that selection on Watson. It's a dream landing spot for the small school stud, who joins a less-than-crowded receiving corps in Green Bay. The challenge with Watson is clearly the level of competition he's faced thus far. If he can prove to be NFL-ready, he could be a steal at the end of round one of a rookie draft.
