DLF - My thoughts: Sermon had an interesting college career. He never had a backfield to himself and had a career-high of 164 carries in a season. Even with the limited carries, he still flashed, especially in the biggest games. His skills as a pass-catcher are a little bit suspect, but I think that could develop just enough to be involved at the NFL level. More quick than fast, he has nice vision and hits the hole quickly, two traits that are coveted by NFL teams. He’s a bit of a risk at this point in the draft, but I like his ceiling.
DLF - Sermon came into college football heavily recruited and ready to start in his first season. Injuries may have derailed the ceiling of his potential, but it’s apparent from anyone watching his game and judging his performance that his best is yet to be discovered.
