NFL - "Not only did he miss all of 2020, but when he came back the offense was a mess and the quarterback had a hard time getting him the ball with any accuracy or touch. You have to grade his 2019 (film), in my opinion." -- College scouting director for AFC team

PFF - The talent he showed as a freshman didn't go anywhere, but he simply never developed more physically. You're going to have to accept his limitations.

FB Guys - Ross might have been a top 5 wide receiver in this class, but 2020 spinal surgery has cast a cloud over his future and ability to regain pre-injury form. His size and game at the catch point could be activated by enough speed to be a factor downfield. It’s easy to bet on a player who had 1000 receiving yards as a true freshman at Clemson even though he wasn’t even a starter.

FFL89 - Ross missed the entire 2020 season due to a congenital fusion condition of his neck and spine that required surgery

DLF - Post-Draft Summary: It's clear his medical red flags scared off most teams as Ross went completely undrafted. However, he did get the chance of a lifetime by signing with the Kansas City Chiefs as an undrafted free agent. There's no bigger boom or bust prospect in drafts this year and Ross looks like a solid late round dart throw who could either be an All-Pro or out of the league in two seasons.
