PFF - Robinson is a two-down thumper. Bring him in for goal-line and shortyardage situations but don't expect much more.
DLF - It’s tough for me to get past the two massive red flags in Robinson’s profile, his age and his fifth-year breakout. Even if I draft him onto my dynasty team, I’m only taking him to sell him later if he breaks out. Robinson will never be a player I want to hold long-term or someone I value as a high-end dynasty asset.
FB Guys - We have to be open to Robinson having more than advertised because he was highly recruited, but chose to stay home in Alabama, where he had to toil behind NFL-bound running backs for most of his college career. He’s a big, strong back with a productive stubbornness running the ball and good feet. Robinson won’t win footraces, but he is decisive and might be able to contribute on passing downs, while his special teams contributions will help him stay active on gamedays as a rookie.
DLF - Post-Draft Summary: Hmm. Robinson ended up going to Washington in the third round and it's a very interesting landing spot. The Commanders have said all the right things about Antonio Gibson this off-season, but we've yet to see him perform consistently with a full workload. Robinson has the pedigree to challenge for some change of pace carries and would have some real short-term value should Gibson miss time. He is likely going to be a second round pick in rookie drafts.
