DLF - Dynasty Analysis - Rice flashes on tape and looks like a more dynamic Courtland Sutton, SMU's most recent successful NFL receiver, drafted early in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft. While not possessing the size of Sutton, Rice (6'2/204) has already caught the eye of scouts but will need to overcome competition concerns. But similar to Green Bay's Christian Watson, wideouts showing next-level ability can still be highly drafted and Rice still seems to profile as an early day-two selection if he shows well during the Combine. He's listed as DLF's rookie WR8 and our R19 overall.
DLF - The Kansas City Chiefs took Rice in the second round of the 2023 NFL Draft, ahead of players like Josh Downs and Jalin Hyatt. The draft capital and landing spot are destined to move Rice up on draft boards but the question is really how high? Rice landed in a great spot for coaching and is very much a project but the talent is very, very real. Rice is going to be a lightning rod in dynasty leagues as a possible second round rookie pick after being paired with Patrick Mahomes.
