PFF - Pickens was quite clearly not himself after coming back from his ACL tear. His prospects will be decided in private on-field workouts and the combine.

DLF - There is concern from some that Pickens is undisciplined and immature, likely holding on to these comments from Kirby Smart back in Pickens’ freshman season. Not only was this a long time ago, but Pickens has also been commended for his competitiveness, determination in attacking his rehabilitation from the ACL tear, and in the same article caring for the community. The NFL Draft will likely tell us how NFL teams view Pickens, but as of now, it would appear that he has grown.

FB Guys - You have to love Pickens' big plays and ability to snag just about anything thrown at him, but in the NFL he’ll face more challenging competition at the catch point and in routes, which makes him more of a boom/bust prospect. He’s also only a year removed from a spring 2021 ACL tear. A little more play strength could unlock his considerable upside.

DLF - Post-Draft Summary: The Steelers have long been known for drafting receivers outside of the first round and having a lot of success in the process. If Pickens hits, it won't be a huge surprise, though. An ACL tear stopped him from putting together the season he wanted, but Pickens is a super talented kid. Owners must exhibit some patience with him, but he has a super high ceiling and could be a starter in due time, in both reality and dynasty. At this point, he looks like a solid second round rookie pick as a player who has a depth chart to climb, but the talent to do so as well.
