PFF - While Metchie is pro-ready in a lot of ways, there's reason to think he's also close to capped out.

FB Guys - Like his college team Jameson Williams, Metchie is recovering from an ACL tear, but unlike Williams, he doesn’t have a lot of upside despite his Alabama pedigree. Metchie is an advanced route runner who will make his living in the slot, but he probably won’t make many big plays or out physical his opponents.

DLF - Post-Draft Summary: Metchie would have likely been taken higher in the draft had he not torn his ACL last season. As it is, he lands in a decent spot with the Houston Texans in the second round. The Texans have a wasteland of a depth chart behind Brandin Cooks and Metchie is going to bring more production from the slot. He should move up on rookie draft boards and is likely a second rounder in most upcoming drafts. Alabama has proven to know what they're doing in terms of receiver development and Metchie could be a little undervalued in some circles.

Houston - APL -Acute Promyelocytic Leukemia. Out for the season
