DLF - He becomes a nightmare after the catch. He has the speed to score from anywhere on the field. If he gets a clean release off the line of scrimmage, he’s a threat to blow by the defensive back that’s in front of him. Like a seasoned pro, he does a really good job of switching up his speed while running his routes. There are times where he will slow down his route to bait the defender and there are other times where he will kick it into top gear to stretch the defense.

NFL - A quarterback's best friend, with the contested-catch focus and extreme ball skills to boost completion percentages. Jefferson failed to stand out as an outside target but saw his stock soar with a monster season from the slot. He has decent speed and separation talent, but he needs to improve as a route-runner, as he's less likely to see the same freedom in space that LSU's offense helped create for him.

DLF - Jefferson is one of the safest wide receivers in the 2020 class. His ability to play inside and outside also allows for offensive flexibility for whatever team he eventually lands on. I don’t believe that Jefferson’s success was all attributed to LSU’s offense.
