NFL - Competitive, well-rounded slot target possessing both elite quickness and long speed to go with above-average play strength. Isabella has the feet and fakes to uncover in a hallway closet and the former high school sprint champion proved to Georgia that his ability to win deep should not be underestimated. Isabella could step into a high-volume slot role as a menace on option routes with the ability to add verticality from the slot. While the step up in competition will be pronounced, he has the traits to transition nicely into the NFL.
Draft Sharks - He checks every box: huge raw production and market shares, nice tape and strong measurables. It was especially important for the UMass product to test as an NFL-caliber athlete at the Combine. He did that and more by registering an 82nd percentile SPARQ score.
DLF - Is Andy Isabella TY Hilton? No, that’s why they have different names. Plus Hilton’s profile was a lot better than Isabella’s at this point in the off-season of his draft year. (He broke out with over 20% of his team’s college production at age 18, for example.) However, it is my hope and expectation that Isabella will be drafted in the first three rounds to a good landing spot.
CBS - Can line up anywhere on the field, a former high school sprint champion, Isabella is a legit deep threat despite his size (5-foot-8). He ran a 4.31 40 at the combine and that translates to his game speed too. He led the nation in receiving yards per game in 2018 and had more than 200 receiving yards against Georgia. Don't be surprised if Isabella finds his way into the second round
