NFL - Long, possession target with outstanding ball skills and the ability to mismatch defenders from the slot with size. Johnson's lack of functional long speed means he has to learn to play faster and play more physically to make up for his athletic deficiencies. Humphrey's ability to box out defenders and win contested catches are play traits that can lead to an NFL future, but he needs to bulk up and re-brand as a matchup tight end or big slot.
Executive with AFC team - "I like the talent but I hate the testing. I wasn't sure he could get open before the combine and now I feel even less certain. He dropped a bunch of weight for the combine, which hurt him more than helped him."
DLF - Humphrey is a boom-or-bust prospect for a cheap price tag. He doesn’t possess the speed or pure athleticism to success in the NFL, but he has the ability to make up for that with quickness and size in the slot. A position change would be a welcome sight if he’s able to comfortably add weight without sacrificing his limited speed.
