NFL - Flex tight end with enough route acumen and separation quickness to open throwing windows, but modest ball skills and below-average hands can turn potential completions into drops. Hopkins' issue with catch consistency has been ongoing and is unlikely to change as a pro.
DLF - To really get a sense of Hopkins’ longer-term value, we really have to wait to see where he lands. If he can find himself in a strong offense with an accurate quarterback (especially one that can give him time to develop), he could be a strong play at the position. But Hopkins is not the type I expect to come into year one and put up strong numbers.
