DLF - My thoughts: With a name like Gainwell, he has to be a future stud running back, right? Putting that aside for a moment, he is slightly undersized but has a legitimate claim to being the best pass-catching back in this draft class. With that said, I do have some concerns about his pass protection at an NFL level and how that might impact his role early in his career. He’s significantly behind Williams in my running back rankings and I think his value is more in the early to middle of the second round.
