DLF - Evans reportedly has a minor hamstring strain. It's unfortunate as the rookie needed a good Combine performance to maintain his ranking, currently RB3 and the R7 overall on DLF's rookie rankings. Evans has next-level upside but suffered from lack of usage and, at times, was outplayed by other backs at Ole Miss. He's a difficult assessment and dynasty coaches will now need to wait until his Pro Day to get questions answered about his long speed and agility.
DLF - Evans was supposed to be a fourth round pick at worst but slid all the way down to the sixth round before the Los Angeles Rams traded up to get him. The draft capital used is a disappointment but Evans should be able to find a spot on the depth chart behind Cam Akers. There is some boom-or-bust potential here but he was productive in the SEC and if he proves to be healthy, this could be a steal. Evans will be a third or fourth round pick in dynasty rookie drafts.
