DLF - My thoughts: As I mentioned above, I go back and forth between Smith and Chase. If I’m being honest, I haven’t watched Chase play since the 2019 championship game, so me having Smith virtually tied with him just might be a bit of recency bias. The biggest concern I have for Chase is he only has one year of production, but it was quite the year! The upside for Chase is probably higher, but Smith might be safer.
CBS Sports' No. 5 prospect overall: Chase was arguably the best wide receiver on a team that included NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year candidate Justin Jefferson. Chase opted out prior to the season.
NFL - The way he accelerates is on a totally different level. He knows he can win one-on-one but once a coach puts more polish on him, he could be special." -- Executive for NFC team
CBSsports - Best Trait: Creating separation   Strengths   Hands, Plays bigger than he is    Weaknesses:  Experience, Top-end speed
