NFL - "Hollywood" is a skinny, but speedy receiver with game-breaking potential on every snap. His ability to race past cornerbacks and separate deep will require specific coverage and safeties ready to help. His thin frame is a liability when faced with contested catches both short and deep, and long-term durability is a legitimate concern. However, his ability to threaten deep with long speed and short as an elite run-after-catch talent gives him a chance to become the most impactful wideout in this draft.   Note: Will not be at the combine or proday due to Lisfranc surgery.

ESPN - ESPN's Adam Schefter reports Oklahoma WR Marquise Brown (Lisfranc) has been cleared to resume running.

DLF - I feel that Marquise Brown is far too much of an outlier. The bantam-sized wide receiver would need to be at the extreme end of an outlier group. As I discussed, looking at similarly-sized receivers and how they fared, I believe there are too many obstacles for him to be a success. While other owners are chasing for the highlight-reel action, I urge you to play it safe. Follow the draft capital. Watch where, and when Brown is drafted. If a team moves up to take him, it means his medicals check out and they have a plan. If that is so, snap him up at the end of round two or early in round three.

Draft Sharks - It would have been nice to have seen Brown run the 40-yard dash at the Combine, but it’s obvious that his speed will translate to the next level. He should make an immediate impact as a big-play threat both downfield and after the catch.
1-2019 - Underwent surgery to repair his Lisfranc injury

Prospects Comments - CBS - Blazing speed with the lateral quickness to match; Brown has the ability to put his foot in the ground and get in and out of cuts leaving defensive backs behind. Lacks strength as a blocker but is willing to do the job. Brown is great in the screen game, catches the ball cleanly, and is able to make defenders miss in small areas. A home-run hitter who suffered a Lisfranc injury that could sideline him till late summer. A first-round talent that may slip because of the injury
