NFL - Slot bully with rare combination of brawn and quickness that allows him to separate with both power and foot quickness. Brown has the size and demeanor to take on a relatively heavy workload as a safety blanket for a young quarterback in a ball-control passing attack. He'll see an upgrade in athlete across from him, but he has the feet and body control to uncover and create windows as a premium route-runner.

DLF - Where would AJ Brown have the best chance to succeed? I’d rather a better landing spot than a better draft pick for Brown. I want a coaching staff that knows what its doing, intends to throw the ball a lot, and preferably has a need for an all-around wide receiver.

Draft Sharks - Brown’s raw production and market shares are impressive even before you factor in that he was playing alongside 2 future NFL WRs. He out-produced D.K. Metcalf and DaMarkus Lodge in both 2018 and in terms of career per-game averages.

CBS - Worked primarily from slot until D.K. Metcalf was lost to injury. Brown ran a lot of in-breaking and comeback routes in simplified Ole Miss passing offense. Good at finding soft spots in zone coverage and a strong after-the-catch runner. Efficient out of breaks, a long strider who takes a while to get up to top speed, Brown sometimes struggles with press-man coverage, especially against bigger cornerbacks
