PFF - Bell ticks a ton of boxes you want to see for the position, but he doesn't profile as a consistent downfield separator at the next level.

DLF - His film checks out. The combine metrics should have already been baked into his prospect profile considering that’s what we saw on tape to begin with. Just like most of the prospects in this draft, I’m just waiting for the draft to see how the NFL values him to make my decision on how much I’m willing to spend in rookie drafts.

FB Guys - Bell is this year’s underwhelming athlete who just gets open - at least in the short and intermediate areas. Will he be able to work NFL corners like he did Big Ten defensive backs? His ceiling is low and he’ll only fit in the slot, but he could become a core contributor with his advanced approach to the game.

DLF - Post-Draft Summary: There was some real concern Bell would drop this weekend and he did, falling deep into day two's third round before being selected by the Cleveland Browns. In the end, that could be a blessing in disguise as he'll now be paired with Deshaun Watson. Bell is going to need to prove his lack of speed isn't a major problem, but this is a player who could be a true value at the end of round two of rookie drafts this off-season.
