NFL - Big, strong target who plays like he's big and strong and gets more and more dangerous the closer he gets to the red zone. Arcega-Whiteside plays with functional quickness in spurts, but not enough to get away from tight coverage and he won't run by many NFL cornerbacks on go routes. However, his basketball bloodlines are on full display every time the ball is in the air, using his body control and ball skills to excel at combat catches and back-shoulder throws. Arcega-Whiteside may not be explosive, but his competitive nature should help make him a future NFL starter.

National scout for NFC team - "He's going to be a Day 2 (Rounds 2-3) pick and I think he's an outside receiver. He's going to run faster than people think and he's smart enough to learn all the tricks to get open as a pro. I hear people underestimate him all the time. We have some in our own building."

DLF - Speculating on ideal landing spots has turned into listing teams I’d like to see add a wide receiver this year. So skipping over the obvious examples of teams with a need, I think several have an opportunity that could be more specifically beneficial to Whiteside’s style of play.

CBS - Looks like Mike Evans but could be more Anquan Boldin based on how fast he runs (Arecega-Whitside didn't run the 40 at the combine). Regularly more physical than smaller receivers and his basketball background (both his parents played professionally) shows up on tape when he posts up defensive backs for jump balls in the end zone. He's a high-point catcher on downfield throws and is rarely out of position to make play on ball. Questions will be about deep speed and separation separate downfield
