PFF - There isn't much about Allgeier that makes you say 'wow,' but there's also not much to dislike, either.

DLF - Allgeier is an intriguing prospect, but I’m not sure he would’ve gotten much attention in stronger draft classes. I like him for his receiving ability and his workhorse upside. He has the requisite size to play running back in the NFL, and he could fit in various roles.

FB Guys - The former walk-on isn’t a flashy prospect, but he is big, tough, strong, and crafty with good feet and good instincts. His receiving and pass-blocking skills are too spotty to consider him three-down back material.

DLF - Post-Draft Summary: Allgeier hit a bit of a jackpot when he was selected on the third day by the Atlanta Falcons. That spot was made even better when Atlanta released veteran Mike Davis shortly thereafter. While the Falcons offense could be (and likely will be) a mess this year, Allgeier has a path to carries early in his career. He's a player who is well worth a look in the third round of rookie drafts based on his landing spot and competition surrounding him.
