Dynasty Summary: Quarterbacks tend to fall in fantasy rookie drafts and a coach needing help at the position should be ready to pounce early in the second round. Thinly built but with great stature in the pocket, Goff can make all the throws at the NFL level and possesses natural instincts, mechanics and mobility. He feels the pocket well, is able to slide from pressure and keeps his eyes downfield with the ability to get the ball to the receiver on a rope with velocity. Some have questioned his leadership ability and personality. Like many quarterbacks from the college game, Goff is not adept at playing from under center and he’ll need to develop quickly in this area.

Rotoworld: 22. Where He Wins: Produced some of the best touch, bucket throws we’ve seen in the last few years. There are a number of throws that clearly show he is willing to work to his second option, so “progressions” might not be a leap. Converted from a number of unclean pockets. Seemingly mastered Cal’s system.

Mike Mayock: "He fits what they do. He can play on Day 1. The Rams have a strong running game and stout defense. That minimizes what he has to think about. Goff has a very quick release and gets the ball out of his hands quickly. He has innate pocket awareness, which is so critical at the NFL level." --
