Yahoo Sports. - A Heisman Trophy finalist in 2016 after posting 1,524 yards and 17 touchdowns receiving, off-the-field issues throw Westbrook’s professional future into question. That coupled with a very mediocre build are the only things keeping the 23 year-old a little lower on most team’s big boards. However, the production is undeniable, and nobody can knock Westbrook on his true football skills. An exceptional vertical threat, many players of Westbrook’s very same playing style have been drafted early and have had very successful careers. The combine interview process will display much to those teams waiting for that final “yay” or “nay” on the prospect. Westbrook has elite awareness and speed coupled with quickness off the ball makes him an intriguing option.
Yahoo Sports: 98. Oklahoma WR Dede Westbrook — Electric playmaker, but seriously undersized. NFL teams more spooked on his character after deeper investigation.

NFL Analysis: A dynamic playmaker in space, NFL teams will find plenty of ways to use Westbrook at the next level. His best fit may be as a slot receiver early who can also take snaps out of the backfield. Westbrook's quick feet and route-running would serve him best on option routes where he can be a mismatch against nickel corners, linebackers and safeties and set him up for additional yards after the catch. Westbrook might have an adjustment getting used to the size/physicality of the NFL, especially when it comes to contested catches. Overall, he has the look of a second or third-round dynasty rookie pick, but will likely be a super late-round sleeper or waiver-wire fodder in redraft leagues.

DRAFT ANALYSIS: Westbrook's film suggests top-50 ability, but off-field issues dropped him to this spot. The speedster should add some juice to an offense that ranked toward the bottom of the league in points and big plays. This could end up being great value for the Jags if he keeps his head on straight. --Mark Dulgerian
