NFL - "Is he the next (Joe) Burrow or Kyler (Murray), who were early picks after being one-year wonders? Some team will try and make that connection and will overdraft him. That's a lock." -- Personnel director for AFC team

PFF - Pickett has enough lingering questions to scare teams off, but his 2021 tape didn't have a ton of holes.

DLF - Post-Draft Summary: The Steelers took the first quarterback off the board with the 20th selection and it ended up being hometown kid Kenny Pickett. With Big Ben riding off to the sunset, Pittsburgh was in line for a long-term solution at the position. You have to figure Mitchell Trubisky will be the starter and the Steelers will likely bring Pickett along slowly as long as Trubisky doesn't faceplant. Pickett is a solid prospect even if he's not considered elite. He lands in a great spot with a franchise committed to winning with a history of decent player development. His floor was raised with this landing spot even though Malik Willis will likely still be taken ahead of him in both 1QB and 2QB formats.
