Yahoo Sports. - What immediately sets Ford apart from most other wide receiver prospects in this draft is his combination of both size and speed. Measuring six-foot-two and weighing 194 pounds, he owns a very athletically-cut body and lanky limbs. He maintains his balance and shows exceptional sturdiness. His hands could show improvement, as drops may be the largest knock against his game. Luckily, this is a skill Ford has plenty of time to perfect. He has elite quickness and runs routes fluidly. He could play inside or outside.
DLF: Ford is not an elite athlete but he does provide enough short area quickness and burst to potentially carve out a role with an NFL team. He compares to both Tyler Boyd and Rashard Higgins who both had highly productive collegiate careers.
NFL Analysis: Ford is an excellent technician capable of creating separation on a variety of routes, despite his pedestrian 40-yard dash time from the combine. Ford did improve his time to a 4.52 at his pro day, but the lack of speed and overall measurables does help explain his weakness after the catch and in the open field. Nevertheless, Ford has pretty good hands and excels in contested situations in the end zone and near the boundary. He's a fine young player (21 years old), who will need a good fit offensively to be fantasy relevant out of the gate. And if he lands with a lesser offensive team, he'll at least still be a name to keep an eye on.

DRAFT ANALYSIS: Ford needs to prove he's capable of handling NFL physicality in camp to earn a roster spot. If he makes the cut, he's got upside as an aggressive QB-friendly No.4 wideout for Ryan Tannehill. --Mark Dulgerian
