Tony Romo QB DAL
Cowboys QB Tony Romo, who missed the final 10 games of the 2010 season with a broken collarbone, hasn't had any problems since training camp opened. “Shoulder is good. I feel great. I’m throwing the ball well," Romo told the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. “I’ve been pretty sharp here at the start of camp. This is exciting for me, just coming out and throwing it like I have. I think going forward you’re always going to do little things, but the ball wants to come out nice, fast, hard, and be able to grab it and be able to throw it 20 yards and be accurate, you know, it’s exciting.”

Devin Hester WR CHI
The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Bears offensive coordinator Mike Martz has named Devin Hester as his starting WR at the flanker position. “That’s a huge role for us,” Martz said. The role was given to him based on the improvements he's made since last season. Hester said last season he spent 70 percent of his pre-snap thoughts on where he needed to be on the field, not on the kind of defense he was up against. “Now it’s 100 percent reading the defense,” Hester said.

Kenny Britt WR TEN
Titans WR Kenny Britt, who has been slowed by a hamstring injury in training camp, has begun to work his way back toward 100 percent. "Yes, he’s on track like we thought," Titans coach Mike Munchak said Monday. "We’re hoping to get him in each day more and more with the pads on and getting used to practicing. Today was a lot of individuals and things, but I think he’s progressing like we hoped. Hopefully he can finish strong this week."
