Texans WR Andre Johnson (dislocated finger) returned to practice Sunday after missing the last four-plus days. "I was just excited like a kid in the candy store," the All-Pro told the media. "I was happy to be out there running around."

Daniel Thomas, RB MIA
Miami RB Daniel Thomas (hamstring) was limited in practice Saturday in advance of the team's Week 1 matchup against New England on Monday night. Thomas, who was also limited on Friday, tweaked his hamstring in Wednesday's practice. If Thomas is unable to go at full speed, the Dolphins will likely provide a larger role to RB Larry Johnson, who was re-signed to the team on Thursday.
