Dynasty Summary: Cooper isn’t elite in any one particular area but is a workhorse on the field and possesses strong discipline. He’s a tough runner with the ball in his hands, fighting for extra yards. Average size and bulk limits his ceiling and his NFL Combine performance was extremely forgettable. In fact, “average” is a fitting term overall. He’s a a player that will be a strong candidate to outplay his drafted position once he learns the ropes in the NFL. No character issues and his NFL team will get a dedicated player with a strong drive.
Rotoworld: 125. Where He Wins: He did most of his offensive damage on manufactured touches -- a red flag on his NFL transition -- and tested poorly, running 4.63 at South Carolina's Pro Day with a 30 1/2-inch vertical and 9-foot-10 broad jump. Cooper was an exciting college player who probably won't be nearly as exciting in the pros.
Mark Dulgerian: The Rams don't have a ton of picks, but it's clear they want to use them to improve an offense that finished last in total yards last season. Cooper is a QB-friendly catch and run specialist with outstanding toughness with the ball in his hands. He has a chance to see early time as their No.3 WR option with upside. --
