SPARQ = Speed, Power,Agility, Reaction, Quickness
Dynasty Summary: There are high risk-reward plays at the top of the draft, and then there are high risk-reward players at the end of each round – Leonte Carroo represents the latter in the first round but with upside too intriguing to ignore. His measurables are somewhat average and he’s not a fluid athlete, but his naturally-gifted hands, physicality and underrated route running all suggest immense upside. There are concerns over Carroo’s decision making and off-the-field behavior. Additionally, the Rutgers gimmicky offense makes it difficult to forecast early NFL success. In the mold of Jarvis Landry, look for a chance to pounce should he slip to the second round in fantasy drafts.
Rotoworld: 55. Where He Wins: Makes difficult catches on a consistent basis. Defenses knew he was the only receiving threat on the team, yet Carroo still produced at a very high level. Knows how to create slivers of separation at the catch point. Has played both outside and in the slot.
Mike Mayock: "This is a really competitive kid. When he gets the ball into his hands, he's angry." --
NFL grade: 5.4 Backup or eventual starter
